Boji House Hockey

The House Hockey program is designed for new or beginner hockey players ages 4-12 (2012-2018 birth years only), an opportunity to play hockey games as they continue to learn skills related to the game of hockey, without the stress of trying out for a travel team or conflicts with other activities.

Families participating in the House program will not be required to attend any functions outside of the Lakes Ice Arena.

Our house program is dedicated to providing young players with a fun, inclusive, and development-focused environment where they can learn the fundamentals of hockey, build friendships, and grow both on and off the ice.

Program Highlights

  • Age Groups: We offer divisions for various age groups, typically ranging from 5 to 12 years old, to ensure that each player is competing against others of similar skill and development levels.
  • Skill Development: Our league emphasizes skill development through practice sessions and games. We focus on teaching essential hockey skills, such as skating, stickhandling, and teamwork, in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
  • Experienced Coaches: Our dedicated coaches are trained and experienced, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a passion for mentoring young athletes. They are committed to helping players improve their skills while fostering a love for the game.
  • Positive Environment: We prioritize creating a positive, sportsmanship-driven environment where every player is valued and encouraged. Our goal is to build confidence, respect, and a sense of belonging among all participants.
  • Game Format: Teams compete in a structured, balanced schedule of games that emphasize fun and fair play. We ensure that every player gets ample ice time and opportunities to shine.
  • Community Focus: Our league is deeply rooted in community values, and we encourage families to get involved and support their young athletes. We host events, fundraisers, and social gatherings to build a strong, connected hockey community.
